Web Designer & Network Administrator

Location:  Vacancy is for Cebu office only.

Overview:

• Conceptualizes and develops web sites according to specification.
• Creates enhancements and modifications to the company web site.
• Ensure that the site conforms to current standards/validations.
• Creates and/or modifies applications to be use in the web site.
• Provide network technical support, maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, and implementation of security policies and guidelines.
• Install and upgrade file servers, routers, workstations, and other computer equipments for company use.
• Monitor available space on network volumes and organize data accordingly to maintain adequate disk space for network operations.
• Develop solutions to method of installations to ensure smooth operation of the network system.
• Resolve problems relating to the network.
• Monitor individual PCs and report to management instances of private/un-official usage.
• Test and recommend software and hardware for company use and ensure that they meet the needs of users.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent required.
• 5 years or more of WEB design and network administration work experience.
• Outstanding creative skills.
• Extensive experience in administration of Solaris, Linux, and Windows servers.
• Knowledge in open source technologies, firewalls(Netscreen), Cisco router, 3Com switches, routers.
• Familiarity with SMTP, LDAP, POP3, DHCP, DNS, Clustering, MySQL, Apache, PostgreSQL, Squid.
• Demonstrates skills in HTML, CSS, Web scripting and other related web page tools.
• Skill in document composition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledgeable in content management.
• Must be analytical and has an eye for details.
• Must take the initiative to do what needs to be done.
• Versatile and flexible.
• Possesses positive attitude.
