Software Design Engineer

Location:  Vacancy is for Cebu and Manila offices.

Overview:

• Writes functional and design specifications.
• Writes original source codes and revise existing software.
• Designs and implements software solutions.
• Performs code reviews, unit tests, integration tests and other relevant testing.
• Making of software documents according to specific guidelines.
• Troubleshooting.
• Estimates project scope and adheres to established guidelines and metrics for quality data.
• Mentors other software engineers and acts as senior member when designated.
• Keeps pace with related emerging technology and trends, and introduce new tools and techniques for software development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science required
• 3 - 6 years of software development work experience
• C++, C, Java, Linux, Unix knowledge required
• JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency) Level 1 to 4 is a plus
